Lakshminath Temple located inside the Jaisalmer Fort is one of the oldest and popular temples of Jaisalmer which is dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It is said that the sculptures here are among the most beautiful in the entire country making it a major faith center in Jaisalmer. Apart from the main deities, paintings and sculptures of other deities are also seen in the Lakshminath temple. This temple has a simple architecture beautifully decorated with silver outlines in the doors of the temple.  Diwali, Janmashtami, Nirjala Ekadashi, Geeta Jayanti and Ramnavami are celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm in Lakshminath Temple.
