Gangaur in Jaisalmer Royal procession and unique journey of Gangaur pooja Gangour is one of the most important festivals of Rajasthan which is celebrated in some form or the other with joy and enthusiasm in the entire Rajasthan. “Gan” is the worship of Lord Shiva and “Goury” or “Gaur” is the worship of Goddess Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva. Gangour celebrates the union of the two. This festival is a symbol of marriage and marriage happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
